Guest Experience
Serve by creating a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for weekend services.

As part of the Parking Team, you will be the first face that incoming attendees will see! So not only do you need to smile and wave, but you’re in charge of making sure the people park legally, pedestrians get in the building safely, and that people don’t crash into each other.
Monitor and direct traffic to ensure cars get from the busy streets to the parking lot.
Manage areas of the parking lot so that all parking spots are full and parked legally.
Coordinate walkways so that attendees can walk inside safely.
Communicate with other parking team members to ensure that all spots are filled and that the humans are safe.

Everyone knows that first impressions are extremely important, and, as part of the Greeting Team, you’ll be leading the charge making sure everyone feels welcomed, loved, and excited for service!
Position Tasks
Greet guests with a high-five, handshake, fist bump, or whatever gesture fits your style!
Help guide people to the front entrance and answer any initial questions they might have before entering the building.
Coordinate with the Parking Team to ensure that guests follow parking lot rules and regulations to safely enter the church building.
Dance well with signs, in costumes, or with the occasional cookie tray in hand.

Our New Here? Start Here! Team uses the gift of administration to collect and maintain data to ensure information is secure, complete, and accurate so that everyone can take their next steps.
Position Tasks
Make sure to greet each guest. If you do not recognize a guest, be sure to ask, “How long have you been coming?”
Ask first-time guests to fill out a connection card. Ensure they write their phone number and email address.
Give first-time guests a gift bag.
Engage in casual conversation (where are you from, how did you hear about us, etc.) to help them feel welcome.
Invite guests to help themselves to coffee, water, etc.
Direct them to Kids area if necessary and/or direct them to the gym entrance.

The Usher Team is like the air traffic control center for the church; they know where everything is, they help people find a seat in service, and they make sure our auditorium operations run smoothly. If you’re ready to help direct the logistics of a service, this is the team for you!
Position Tasks
Manage auditorium flow before, after, and during service and ensure that guests quickly and efficiently find their seats.
Count and track attendance for service (as well as salvation count when necessary)
Coordinate with other Ushers to effectively and efficiently collect offering.
Coordinate with the Logistics Team to maintain lobby cleanliness by taking out trash and helping clean major spills and messes.
Organize and clean up the auditorium after service to ensure it is ready for the next service.

As a member of the Cafe Team, you bring the energy, the sugar, and the Holy Spirit to service!
Position Tasks
Brew coffee and tea for service on a weekly basis using the materials and tools provided at the campus.
Set up cafe stations and hand deliver the hot java/tea to the people in need.
Monitor, clean, and refill coffee stations as needed before service starts.
Clean and dry all coffee tools and containers to ensure they are ready for the next service.
Help set up and tear down any additional food or drinks for events, special services, etc.

If your favorite shows were Home Improvement, Bob the Builder, or anything on HGTV, then we’ve got a spot for you on the Facilities Team. Be hands-on and work behind the scenes, getting the building ready for service.
Our Logistics Team uses all 5 senses to steward our physical building and environment to create a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for anyone entering the facility, both inside and out. Position Tasks
Clean up and collect trash in the parking lots, entrances, bathrooms, and everywhere in between
Work with the Usher Team to straighten chairs and ensure that the auditorium is ready for the next service.
Work with the team to fix minor building issues and help with set up/teardown.

If you binge-watch all the latest crime shows and can keep cool under pressure, then you’re a perfect (fingerprint) match for the Safety Team.
Position Tasks
Keep your head on a swivel and quickly determine the threat level for potential security issues.
Manage active threats by leaning on previous training and support from your other Safety Response Team members.
Document safety incidents and provide reports to campus staff and other Safety Response Team leaders (who, what, when, where, and why of the situation.)
Support and communicate with Medical Response Team during campus emergencies.
Lead and assist attendees in evacuation protocols when needed.

Orbit Kids
Serve by teaching kids about Jesus in a safe and fun environment.

If you’re great with kiddos, but better with parents, then the Orbit Kids Greeting Team is the crew for you! You’ll be the first person that families see to help make sure mom, dad, and the kiddos have a great service.

If shaking hands and holding babies is your forte, then the Orbit Kids Early Childhood Room Team is for you! Help the little ones (and their parents) of Orbit Church feel loved, welcomed, and ready for service.

God calls us to have childlike faith, so why not have some fun and act like kids while following Christ? If you’ve got the energy and the joy, joy, joy, joy down in your heart (where?!), then Orbit Kids Elementary Room Team is your fit.
Production
Serve by operating the technology used to stream and record our weekend services.

Do you catch yourself tapping your toes to the beat of a song? Or do you have the uncanny ability to memorize a song after one listen? Join the Production Team as a ProPresenter and help keep everyone (band included) on beat and on the right lyric!
Position Tasks
Run and operate song lyric slides for the worship team.
Edit and update lyrics as needed.
Run slides for service transitions and for pastor slides (videos, pictures, scripture slides, etc)

As the Lighting Operator, you’ll be the master maestro dictating the look and feel for lighting elements during worship and the message (aka if you’ve ever wanted to be the master of a firework show, this position is for you!)
Position Tasks
Run and operate lighting pushes and transitions during worship and message.
Edit and update lighting calls as needed.
Coordinate with Production Team to help coordinate smooth service transitions.

When you’re watching a movie, are you more excited for the well timed transitions and panning of the camera angle? Then you’re a match to become the next Camera Operator at Orbit.
Position Tasks
Operate a handheld camera or a mounted camera throughout worship and the message.
Find and create unique and engaging camera views to create the best footage.
Support and adhere to the direction of the Video Director.
Help maintain camera care by putting away and wrapping cables.

At Orbit Creative, we love to glorify God through our creativity. If you’re gifted in capturing moments in a photo or video, this may be the team for you! On this team, you will get the chance to take photos or video for our various events and weekly services and ministries. Join us in pushing our creativity further at Orbit Church!
Worship
Audition to serve on our worship team for Sunday services.

Our worship team creates time and space to encounter the Presence of God at our weekend gatherings. Our heart is to glorify God with excellent musical expression.
